Overall Impression

Dare I say that this NA version of Guinness is better than the “A” version? If my memory serves me correctly, it is. The NA version is smooth and creamy with notes of chocolate, coffee, and toasty malt. It does not leave a sour after-taste that some darker stouts are known for but lingers on the pallet with notes of molasses and only slightly bitter hops. This is an example of a company with a lot of resources using them to create a high-quality non-alcoholic product, and I’m excited to see other mainstream companies do the same.
